Woodlake MRI offers a wide variety of noninvasive services including:

Open and high-field MRI • Multi-slice CT scans • DEXA Bone Densitometry • Ultrasound • Echocardiography •

General Digital X-rays • EDI pain management • Myelograms • Arthrograms

Woodlake MRI employs two types of state-of-the-art machines: the GE 1.5 Tesla (Gessner location) and the Siemens Symphony (Southwest Freeway location).

The GE 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner is continuously upgraded with modifications and software updates to stay on par with the most advanced technologies in medicine. GE is considered the industry standard in MRI and is a valuable asset to doctors in need of imaging for all parts of the body. Our GE 1.5 Tesla is capable of scanning patients that have had previous spinal surgeries, although it is best to consult with your doctor if you have any surgically placed metal in your body before undergoing an MRI.

The Siemens Symphony is an ultra-short bore 1.5T MRI system, and it delivers better accommodations than any other high-field design for the needs of all patients, including those who suffer from claustrophobia. The result is the shortest whole-body magnet available.

The Hitachi AIRIS Elite MRI scanner is an open MR machine with a 0.3 Tesla vertical field magnet built by one of the leading companies in the industry. It contains breakthrough technology that yields high-resolution imagery that rivals that produced by a closed system but offers one of the widest openings possible to ensure patient comfort. The open MRI services are provided at the Gessner location.
